My first Book Signing event in Barrington Books:

Right after setting up. I had my Aspie Jewelry line and my Aspie painting series (in prints) on one table  and my books, a guest book and a dish with candy on the other table. I have also brought two of my original paintings for show.

All in all it was a really nice event- one that I could learn from, and one that I came out from with a wonderful feeling!

I had one table set up with the Aspie Jewelry line and prints of the Aspie painting series
and I also had 2 of the big paintings on Aisles

The other table had my books, articles about me and...Me!!!

Everyone at the library was very nice and accommodating, I have met and talked to a very nice woman that came in to meet me and my boys loved to help out and be a part of the whole process of mom, the author.

 

That week I also had an Art show for Autism in which I took part. It was at the TSETSE Gallery in Providence, RI.

The art show was successful, I sold a few of my books there, got an order for a big print of one of my paintings, impressed the right people and even got an opportunity to give an autographed book of mine  to Congressman Kennedy as my appreciation for the wonderful work he's doing for people with all kinds of disabilities and mental illnesses (I even received a thank you card from him).
To sum it all up- it was an exciting, busy week!
